Neuropsychologists use specialised tests, standardised questionnaires and observation to measure a range of abilities such as intellectual skills, language, attention, memory, executive functions, social communication and academic skills. Paediatric neuropsychologists also work closely with allied medical professionals and schools to help develop learning plans and strategies to support a child to achieve to their full potential.

About Shelley
Shelley is a Clinical Neuropsychologist with experience in child and adolescent neuropsychological assessment, intervention and research. Shelley has worked with children and adolescents with a wide range of conditions including traumatic brain injury, concussion, stroke, epilepsy, cerebral palsy, cancer, ASD, attention/behavioural difficulties and learning problems. Shelley understands the importance of working closely with schools and families to ensure that children who struggle with learning reach their best potential. Shelley has particular interest in working memory, attention and related learning difficulties and academic outcomes for children. Shelley believes that knowledge is power for children and their families. Understanding a child’s “brain behaviour” is the first step to helping them move forward with confidence.
